SLO-YO and Meditation for Everyday Living
This interactive and deeply relaxing session will explore what is already in place for you to develop mindful living.  Participants will be guided through several gentle yoga movements and guided meditations that encourage deep mental and physical relaxation.  Participants will determine which styles may work for them.  There are many different styles of yoga and types of meditation, but they all have the same goals...peace of mind and well-being. Yoga encourages a mind/body connection. This connection focuses our attention on the present moment which is the ultimate aim of all meditation.  No prior experience is necessary.  Just come with an open heart.

Finding your Place
Sometimes the world is fast moving, high-pressured and overwhelming. It’s easy to feel like you don’t “belong”, especially as you face personal challenges such as grief, finances, friendships and relationships or difficulties in your professional life with finding the right career, managing work/life balance or transitioning into retirement. These issues can make you question, “What’s happening to me?”

The good news is that as much as you feel that you’re alone, you’re not. Many women face these difficulties in various phases of their lives. However, instead of feeling fretful and out of place about your circumstance, you can learn how to live in the moment and move through each situation with grace and ease.

The “Finding your Place” workshop will offer you encouragement, tools, ideas and resources to help find comfort during your personal chaos. Although we cannot avoid our personal, professional and emotional challenges, we can learn how to prepare ourselves and find our personal places, which make us feel safe, cared for, supported and ambitious.
